The admission age for film screenings is determined by the Swiss Commission for the Protection of Minors in Film:
e.g. '6 (10)' = admission age from 6 years, recommended age from 10 years.
The “admission age” for children and adolescents can be undercut by a maximum of 2 years if accompanied by a legal guardian.
The minimum age in all blue Cinema cinemas is 3 years. This also applies to screenings with an admission age of 0.
Adult supervision is mandatory for children under the age of 6 years.
Further information on age ratings can be found here.
